Today we will make the tour that takes us to the heart of Bangkok. “HALF DAY TEMPLES & ROYAL PALACE” Tour: Half day excursion to enjoy the most important places in Bangkok: We start with Wat Trimitr, an ancient temple whose golden exterior houses the largest solid gold Buddha statue in the world, weighing of 5.5 tons and a height of 3 meters. We will pass through China Town, continue to Wat Pho, the great royal complex of temples that houses a Reclining Buddha of 46 meters in length and the chedis (tombs) of the kings. One of the oldest temples in Bangkok, Wat Pho, was declared a royal monastery during the reign of King Rama I. We end the tour by visiting the Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful examples of the Siam courts. Formerly it used to be used as the residence of the kings of Thailand. Here you can admire palaces used for various occasions: the funeral palace, the reception palace, the throne room, the coronation room, the house of royal guests and the wonderful temple of the Emerald Buddha.
Day 04 – BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA – LOPBURI – PHITSANULOKE.
Breakfast. Today’s visit begins with the departure from the hotel and the arrival at the extraordinary archaeological park of Ayutthaya, where we will surely not get tired of contemplating its wonderful and exuberant temples. Ayutthaya was the capital of the kingdom of the same name from approximately 1371 to 1700, later becoming the Kingdom of Siam and thus encompassing much of present-day Thailand and neighboring Cambodia. We will visit the most representative temples: Wat Chaiwathanaram and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, impressive places to discover. This afternoon we leave for Lopburi, one of the oldest cities in Thailand, to reach the spectacular, and at the same time fun, Monkey Temple (Prang Sam Yod – The Sacred Pagoda), which has Khmer origin and dates back to the 13th century. . The peculiarity, as its name indicates, is the multitude of monkeys that have taken possession of the place. Then we continue our journey to Phitsanuloke, the provincial capital and an ideal destination for lovers of natural beauty. Lunch at a local restaurant. Accommodation.
Day 05 – PHITSANULOKE – SUKHOTHAI – CHIANG RAI.
Breakfast. We continue visiting to the Sukhotai Historical Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and considered to be the first Thai kingdom (13th century), before Ayutthaya. We will visit (optional bicycle) the great White Buddha of Wat Sri Chum (Temple of the Sacred Tree), whose hand, covered in gold leaf and resting on his knee, is venerated with great fervor by the locals. In the afternoon, we go to Chiang Rai, with a mandatory stop at the picturesque Phayao Lake, in the valley of the Ing River. Lunch at a local restaurant. Accommodation.
Day 06 – CHIANG RAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANG MAI.
Breakfast. This morning the popular Wat Rong Khun or White Temple awaits us, a very original contemporary Buddhist temple, designed by a Thai architect who gave it a specific shape and color; the almost immaculate white is the representation of purity. At mid-morning, we visit “Sop Ruak”, the local name given to the famous Golden Triangle. This is the meeting point between Laos, Burma and Thailand, and from the top of a hill we will enjoy magnificent views over the Mekong River and its tributary Ruak, which geometrically divides, in the form of a triangle, the border between the 3 countries. We will also visit the Casa del Opio, to learn more about the opium market that marks the recent history of the region. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we leave for Chiang Mai by road on a journey of approximately 3 hours. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Arrival at the Bangkok train station at approximately 6:50 am. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Free time until check-in time. We suggest taking the optional excursion (at an additional cost) BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER KWAI AND BURMA RAILWAY: Visit the construction of the Burma Railway, also known as the “death railway” in this 10-hour historical tour of Kanchanaburi, approximately 80 miles (130km) west of Bangkok. Upon arrival we will visit the war cemetery, where the graves of some 9,000 allied soldiers are tended. They perished while building the notorious “Death Railway,” which the Japanese hoped would stretch to the Burmese border. Discover the terrible history of the Railway at the JEATH museum, which takes its name from the first letters of the words Japan, England, the United States, Australia, Thailand and Holland. See the past recreated and brought to life with images and artifacts. You’ll also travel by train along the original track of the Death Railway, with a sumptuous lunch awaiting you at the disembarkation station. Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon for the return to your hotel. Accommodation.
Day 09 – BANGKOK.
Breakfast. This day we will have one of the most exciting and symbolic tours of this city. Today we will tour the most famous markets in all of Bangkok. First of all we will visit the famous Floating Market “Damnoen Saduak”. At the end we will visit the incredible Market on the train tracks, where you can witness for yourself how the railway causes the Market to be built in a matter of seconds.
