ITINERARY
Day 1 AMERICA-MADRID
Departure on an intercontinental flight to Madrid. Night on board.
Day 2 MADRID
Arrival at Madrid-Barajas international airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Accomodation and the rest of the day free.
Day 3 MADRID
Bed and breakfast. In the morning, panoramic tour of the city with a wide tour through its most important avenues, squares and buildings: Gran Vía, Cibeles and the City Hall, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de España, Plaza de Oriente where the Royal Palace is located, Santiago Bernabéu, Plaza Castilla… Rest of the day free for shopping or personal activities. We recommend an optional excursion to the monumental city of Toledo.
Day 4 MADRID-BURDEOS (693 kms)
Breakfast and departure to the north of Spain via Burgos and San Sebastián towards the French border and crossing the Pyrenees we will arrive at the city of Bordeaux, capital of Aquitaine and a World Heritage Site, an important wine region. Accommodation.
Day 5 BORDEAUX-LOIRE VALLEY-BLOIS-PARIS (574 kms)
Breakfast and departure via Poitiers and Tours, where a brief tour of the fertile Loire Valley begins. Stop in Blois, an emblematic city for its beautiful castle, with the most representative Renaissance façade in the Valley. Later it continued to Paris. Accommodation. This first night will include an optional visit to Paris Illuminated to get acquainted with the beautiful French capital, and an evocative cruise on the Seine River.
Day 6 PARIS
Bed and breakfast. In the morning, panoramic tour of the City of Light to see its most emblematic places such as Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées, City Island with the imposing Church of Notre Dame, National Palace of the Invalides where the Napoleon’s tomb, with a brief stop on the Champs de Mars to photograph the Eiffel Tower. In the afternoon we recommend an optional excursion to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, declared a World Heritage Site, to see its imposing architecture and beautiful gardens. At night, you can optionally attend the Lido de Paris, one of the most famous shows in the world.
Day 7 PARIS
Bed and breakfast. Free day for personal activities. We recommend, in the morning, taking our optional excursion, visiting the Montmartre neighborhood or Latin Quarter, as well as the Louvre Museum, with such important works as “The Mona Lisa”, “The Victory of Samothrace”, or “The Venus of Milo”. Likewise, you can continue discovering other charming corners of this cosmopolitan city.
Day 8 PARIS-HEIDELBERG (545 kms) Breakfast and departure through the old Champagne and Les Ardenes regions towards the German border to reach Heidelberg, an old university city. Free time to stroll through its typical streets and contemplate the remains of its majestic castle from above. Later the arrive to the hotel and accommodation.
Day 9 HEIDELBERG-ROMANTIC ROAD-MUNICH (420 kms)
Breakfast. Depart for Rothenburg. Free time to admire this beautiful medieval city that preserves its original walls, towers and gates, contemplate its typical streets and old German architecture. Continuation through the Romantic Route contemplating its beautiful landscapes to reach Munich, capital of the State of Bavaria and important economic and university center of Germany. Possibility of making an optional visit to see the most emblematic places of the city. Accommodation.
Day 10 MUNICH-INNSBRUCK-VERONA-VENICE (557 kms)
Breakfast. Departure to the Austrian border, between incomparable alpine landscapes to reach Innsbruck, capital of Tyrol. Free time. We will continue along the motorway crossing the impressive Brenner Alpine Pass, with one of the highest bridges in Europe “Europabrücke” towards Italy to reach Verona, a city immortalized by William Shakespeare in his work “Romeo and Juliet”. Continuation of the trip to Venice. Accommodation.
Day 11º VENICE-FLORENCE (256 kms)
Breakfast. Departure for the Tronchetto to board for Saint Mark’s Square, where we will begin our panoramic walking tour of this unique city built on 118 islands with romantic bridges and canals, admiring the magnificent façade of Saint Mark’s Basilica, its Bell Tower, the Doge’s Palace , the famous Bridge of Sighs… Free time. Possibility of taking an optional Gondola ride through the canals and an exclusive navigation through the Venetian Lagoon. Continuation to Florence, capital of Tuscany and cradle of the Renaissance. Day 12º FLORENCE-ROME (275 kms)
Breakfast. Panoramic walking tour of this city overflowing with Art, History and Culture, where Michelangelo or Dante Alighieri passed. We will get to know its important architectural jewels: the Cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiori, with its beautiful Campanile and the Baptistery with the famous Gates of Paradise by Ghiberti, the Plaza della Signoría, Ponte Vecchio… Later departure to Rome. Accommodation. Possibility of making an optional visit to discover Baroque Rome, with its famous fountains, squares and papal palaces, from which the Papal States were governed.
Day 13 ROME
Bed and breakfast. Panoramic tour of the Imperial City, Piazza Venezia, Imperial Forums, Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, and the imposing St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. Possibility of optionally visiting the famous Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s frescoes and the interior of St. Peter’s Basilica, using our exclusive reservations, thus avoiding long waits for entry. Rest of the day free.
Day 14 ROME
Bed and breakfast. Free day for personal activities, in which we recommend, optionally, the excursion to Naples, with a brief panoramic tour. Capri, mythical island that captivated the Roman Emperors, for its natural beauty and Pompeii, an ancient Roman city buried by the ashes of the Vesuvius volcano in the year 79, to discover the best archaeological remains.
Day 15 ROME-PISA-NIZA (710 kms)
Breakfast and departure to Pisa, with time to visit the Plaza de los Milagros, where we can contemplate the monumental complex made up of the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Campanile, the famous Leaning Tower. Continuation along the incomparable highway of flowers towards Nice, capital of the Côte d’Azur. Accommodation. Possibility of participating in an optional excursion to get to know the Principality of Monaco visiting the historical part as well as the hill of Monte Carlo where its famous casino is located.
Day 16 NICE-BARCELONA (665 kms)
Breakfast. Departure bordering the Côte d’Azur and crossing the region of French Provence, we will arrive, crossing the Spanish border, at the city of Barcelona. Brief panoramic tour through its famous avenues, to admire the contrast between the medieval part and Catalan modernism, knowing its most representative buildings, Casas Batlló, Amatller, Morera, Milá, Sagrada Familia… Accommodation.
Day 17 BARCELONA-ZARAGOZA-MADRID (635 kms)
Breakfast. Departure to Saragossa. Brief stop to see the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, Patron Saint of Hispanic Heritage. Later continuation to Madrid. Accommodation.
